EXPLORE OUR DATABASE IN-DEPTH WITH THESE POWERFUL TOOLS

The foundation of the Charlotte Regional Indicators Project is the Regional Database, which houses all of the data for the Indicators Project as well as data requested by the Indicators Partners (community organizations with which the Institute has partnered to collect and analyze secondary data).   All of these data are at your fingertips, accessible through two very different tools.

Table Explorer allows you to browse our entire database and build your own custom queries and tables.   The resulting tables can be downloaded in Excel format, allowing you to analyze and interpret the data yourself.  Geovisual Explorer provides a dynamic, interactive window into our database through a series of animated maps and graphs.  Eventually, this tool will allow users to create custom maps from any of the data in our database.  At this time, however, this feature is still under development.
