With the bustling city of Charlotte at its center, Mecklenburg County contains a dynamic and influential economy.  As the area recovers from the worst recession in recent history, the employment (and unemployment) structure of the county is evolving in interesting ways.  This evolution is examined here through three key indicators: Unemployment, Industry Employment, and Occupational Employment.
