Housing

The Charlotte region was not immune from the most recent housing bubble or the foreclosure crisis, but it also did not experience highs or lows as severe as places like Florida or California.  Housing density and development patterns have been historically suburban in nature but are becoming increasingly urban in Uptown Charlotte and a number of the smaller towns in the region.  Two indicators- Housing Stock and Home Price- track the housing situation in the region.
