On Friday, April 13, the 2012 Women’s Summit “Women, Wages and Work” will be held at the UNC Charlotte Student Union. This one-day event will educate and inform delegates on the economic and social well-being of women in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community. The event will feature keynote speaker Dee Dee Myers, the first woman to serve as White House press secretary.
During the event, the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute will present the Women’s Summit Indicator Partner webpage and show participants (in a hands-on format) how to navigate the site and how they might use the data featured on the site in their own work.
Registration will open in early February. Click here for more information about this event.
