Transportation

With over 500 square miles of area in the county to traverse, transportation is a necessary and important issue in Mecklenburg County.  With Charlotte's spread out, suburban character, the access individuals have to a vehicle and the related time it takes them to get to and from work can and do affect multiple aspects of everyday life.  The aspects of transportation measured here include the following indicators: Commute Time and Vehicles Available.
